EFT - Tapping
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a simple yet powerful therapeutic tool that can produce impressive results for physical, emotional, and performance-related issues, often quickly.
Developed by US clinical psychologist Roger Callahan, EFT is based on the principle that stimulating acupressure (energy) points while focusing on a specific issue can help release both emotional and physical discomfort.
EFT has been successfully used to support a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, fears and phobias, trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anger, guilt, and grief. It can also be used to enhance relationships, improve performance, and build confidence.
By gently releasing limiting beliefs, unresolved experiences, and stored emotional tension, such as anger or resentment, EFT helps create space for greater calm, clarity, and emotional freedom, allowing you to feel more safe, secure, and balanced.
One of the many benefits of EFT is its accessibility. It is a technique that can be easily learned and used independently, empowering you to support your own wellbeing between sessions.
While some issues may require time, consistency, or the guidance of a skilled practitioner, many people find EFT highly effective for managing everyday stress and emotional challenges.
Note: Whilst EFT has achieved excellent results with many physical conditions the technique should not be seen as a substitute for appropriate medical care and should always be used in conjunction with medical consultation and intervention for such conditions.
